The appearance of residential and public buildings plays a vital role in modern urban architecture. Due to their high functionality, wide range of options, and reduced susceptibility to damage compared to other façade systems, architects often choose curtain wall ventilated facade systems. These systems offer a number of advantages, including architectural (the variety of materials used, the ability to combine them, and the flexibility of architectural and design solutions), technological (the speed of installation of façade structures and the ability to perform installation work year-round), and economic (the payback of curtain wall ventilated facade systems is achieved within 5 years due to reduced heating costs in winter and reduced energy consumption for air conditioning). The latest building materials used for cladding the load-bearing and enclosing structures of buildings impart a unique exterior style to both capital construction projects and renovations. This article analyzes the experience of using curtain wall ventilated facades with modern cladding materials, which can transform the appearance of residential or public buildings.
