The recording was carried out to according to the Specification. A general photographic record was made of all elevations of the building, including a number of oblique general views from all sides, showing their setting. An interior photographic record was also made to record the form, general appearance and manner of construction of the organ, its surroundings and any parts of the building that are proposed to be altered. Large parts of the building were not accessible during the survey due to its use as a residential site though none of these areas are to be affected by the use of the building. Photographs were be taken in RAW format with a high-resolution camera using a selection of lenses. All photographs included an appropriate scale where possible and conformed to industry best practice . The organ and its air supply machinery were recorded in their entirety prior to their removal. It is likely that the organ was installed no earlier than 1913 based on the style of the maker's mark with records suggesting it was installed in 1915. It is likely that the air pump is not original but the bellows and reservoir may be original. The organ is planned to be relocated for use by a private collector. This survey comprises a record of its early 20th-century location and appearance which has been entirely characterised prior to removal.
