Abstract

This article examines the formation of harmony in national motifs within visual arts lessons and its pedagogical significance. The integration of national ornaments and cultural elements into the teaching process positively influences the development of students’ aesthetic taste, creative abilities, and sense of national identity. At the same time, the systematic and purposeful application of national motifs increases students’ interest in lessons, expands their individual expressive capacities, and fosters creative thinking. The adaptation of selected examples by the teacher to students’ age characteristics, their enrichment through various artistic techniques, and their presentation via interactive methods enhance the quality of the learning process. Furthermore, the use of visual materials based on national heritage strengthens students’ respect for cultural values and deepens their connection to their national roots. The study shows that the harmonious integration of national motifs in visual arts education contributes not only to the development of artistic skills but also to the formation of students’ personality and their adaptation to the social and cultural environment. In this regard, a pedagogical approach based on national motifs can be considered a relevant and promising direction in modern education.
