The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of recreation specialization on sport commitment and exercise addiction of serious leisure participants tennis community. Three hundreds tennis club participants who took part in amateur tennis Championship were selected as subjects using purposive sampling method. Data were collected through the self-administrated questionnaires from previous study. Using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis were applied in this study. The results showed that recreation specialization of serious leisure participants tennis community directly influenced on sport commitment and exercise addiction. The conclusions were drawn as follows: First, recreation specialization of serious leisure participants tennis community directly influenced on sport commitment significantly. Second, recreation specialization of serious leisure participants tennis community directly and indirectly influenced on exercise addiction significantly. Third, sport commitment of serious leisure participants tennis community directly influenced on exercise addiction significantly. In conclusion, the higher recreation specialization tennis community as the serious leisure participants have the more flow and addiction they get, so to prevent the negative effects of recreation specialization on their leisure activities, careful attention and appropriate condition should be prepared.
