Abstract

A Childlike Inquiry into the Operation of the Universe This model attempts to revisit the operation of the universe through a childlike and pure mode of questioning. In the step-by-step unfolding of inquiry, those seemingly unsolvable ultimate knots are, almost miraculously, resolved one by one. During its development, this model inevitably touches upon philosophical and theological dimensions of thought. Yet this is merely the natural outcome of intellectual collision, and bears no necessary doctrinal connection to any existing religious or philosophical system. Consider this: if the young Newton had never asked why the apple fell, or if the young Einstein had never asked how light moves forward, what path would physics have taken today? This model holds that what truly changes the world has never been cold mathematical formulas alone, but rather the human intuition that perceives how the universe speaks to us. From the outset, the author never intended to solve all the mysteries of the universe. Yet as the logic unfolded naturally, many of modern physics’ long-standing puzzles found self-consistent answers within a single conceptual framework — from the origin of the universe, the nature of time, and the intelligibility of singularity, to the fine-tuning of physical constants and the plausibility of inflation; from the emergence of structure and order, the ontological role of the observer in spacetime, and the translation between information and matter, to the asset restructuring implied by black holes and white holes, the ultimate problem of heat death, and the fundamental tension between relativity and quantum mechanics. Ultimately, all of this converges on the central role played by consciousness, intelligence, and love in the universe. This model does not claim to be the final truth of these questions. Rather, it seeks to offer a unified conceptual perspective, placing fragmented mysteries within a single coordinate system so that they may be re-understood together. The author is not a professional physicist. From the birth of the first intuitive idea to the completion of these seventeen essays alone, only twenty days passed. For this reason, this work does not aim to replace the rigorous mathematical derivations, experimental verification, or formal constructions of modern physics. Its value lies in provoking a conceptual shock, opening up a new question-space, and offering real physicists a logical starting point that may be revised, tested, or even challenged. To that end, this model also preserves methods for empirical falsification and is by no means meant to remain an empty speculative fantasy. The author also observes, with deep concern, that the contemporary scientific world often operates as a highly closed, heavily gatekept, and institutionally monopolized system. New ideas that have not been recognized by established academic paradigms often struggle to be seen. The door of the universe has always been wide open, yet the door of academia remains locked — even when one knocks, no one answers. This model is dedicated to all who still look up at the stars, persist in asking questions, and retain an enduring sense of awe and curiosity toward the universe.
