Precise Determination of the Magnetic Moment of the Deuteron

A precision measurement of the ratio of the magnetic moment of the proton to that of the deuteron has been carried out by the magnetic resonance method. The measurements were made using mixtures of H₂O and D₂O and also mixtures of H₂ and D₂ gas.
