Internet of things based on EPC technology and its application in logistics

Internet of things (IOT) based on EPC system is a revolutionary new technology of modern logistics management. IOT can obtain intelligent recognition, location, tracking, monitoring, management and its application in logistics management can achieve real-time tracking of goods, improvement of information transparency and visual management, thus can highly optimize logistics management. Presently in China, the application of IOT in logistics management is restricted by system integration, technical standards, cost, privacy, security issues and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to further improve the relevant laws and technical standards, to increase government investment and to set up business models so as to promote the application of IOT.
