In many universities, departments still store course syllabi, curricula, work study plans, and regulatory documents (certificates, patents, scientific articles) in paper form or in disorganized electronic formats. This leads to document loss, slow approval processes, and data inconsistency. This article details the design and development process of the "e-KAF" (Electronic Department) web application, built on three user roles (teacher, department head, secretary) and a five-stage document status system. The article provides information on research methodology, database design, technology selection, and the capabilities of the developed system.
