Research Problem: This research stems from the need to understand how the concept of unity in diversity has become a central symbol of Indian culture and image from ancient times to the modern era. Furthermore, this research also highlights the importance of India's role in geopolitical relations with Central Asia (Inner Asia), particularly in the context of regional peace, economic cooperation, and the utilization of energy resources such as oil and gas. Research Purposes: The aim of this research is to analyze how India's diverse cultural values can bridge international cooperation and examine India's role as an economic and military power in maintaining stability in the Asian region. Furthermore, it aims to explore the potential economic benefits India can derive from relations with Central Asian countries. Research Methods: This study employed content analysis and observation. Primary data were obtained through informal interviews with Rajkumar Kothari and Debasish Nandy. Secondary data were collected from various sources, such as journals, magazines, and government annual reports. Results and Discussion: The research findings show that advances in science and technology have increased the geopolitical significance of Central Asian countries as the primary source of oil and gas after the Middle East. Changes in India's foreign relations have also strengthened its strategic role in the region, both in economic and security terms. Furthermore, historical interactions between India and Central Asia have enriched the cultures of both regions through the exchange of values, traditions, and social practices. Research Implications and Contributions: This study emphasizes the importance of Central Asia as a historical and strategic bridge between the West and India. Its primary contribution is demonstrating the potential of this platform for trade cooperation and the relevance of India's "Linchpin" approach, or "Look West" policy, in expanding ties to Central Asia. It also highlights how cultural and economic exchanges can strengthen social harmony and enrich India's cultural diversity.
