This paper proposes that the structural content of a unified physics framework—developed over several years and here called the reflection framework—follows from a single primitive: a reflection. From one operation—a mirror R with R² = 1—and the rule of iterating it while keeping what survives, the framework’s recurring objects are forced rather than assumed: the two faces of the “coin” (the ±1 eigenspaces), the seam between them (the fixed axis), the imaginary unit i (generated by composing two reflections into a rotation), the doubling ladder ℝ → ℂ → ℍ → 𝕆 (iterated conjugation, terminating at the octonions by Hurwitz’s theorem), and the spoke count N = 7 (the surviving imaginary axes of the last division algebra). We show that three apparently separate structures—the algebraic doubling ladder, a kinematic helix cascade, and the family of integer winding numbers observed across physics—are one structure, joined by classical theorems (Cartan–Dieudonné, Adams’ Hopf-invariant-one theorem) and, at a deeper level, by the eight-fold Bott periodicity that organizes Clifford algebras and the ten-fold classification of topological matter. The same generator reads cleanly through quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, the division-algebra tower, and a range of measured topological phenomena (the quantum Hall effect, topological insulators, Majorana modes, Berry phase, DNA supercoiling, hydrogen orbital nodes). The framework’s consistent signature is sharp: it speaks about structure—parity, topology, dimensionless ratios, the imaginary unit—and is silent about magnitude—masses, couplings, and absolute scales. We argue this silence is not a defect to be patched but the expected signature of a relational theory: a reflection is a relation, and a relation has no size. We state the resulting account of mass as exponential amplification across the rungs, which generates the entire mass ladder from a single seed while leaving that seed—and only that seed—unfixed. We also collect the framework’s standing dimensionless results from three integer parameters, of which the reflection ontology forces only N = 7 while kL = 37 and D = 11 are inputs fixed by the Planck-to-TeV hierarchy and the dimension count: the fine-structure constant to parts per million, the cosmological constant’s logarithm to 0.06% (a factor of order 1.2 in the value itself), the Weinberg angle to 0.07%, the lepton mass ratio to 0.035%, and the Koide angle to 0.02%, among others—every clean entry a ratio, an angle, or a coupling, and none an absolute scale.
