Conventional physics is confined to superficial observations and simply defines the universal constant c as the speed of light, which severs the intrinsic connection of physical systems. This paper puts forward the first axiom of the universe: there exist three mutually independent primordial sources of the universe, namely space, energy and the universal constant c. Space is the innate carrier of all existence, energy is the substantial ontology of all things, and the universal constant c is the fundamental law governing all operating orders of the universe. The speed of light is merely the external manifestation of constant c when free energy is in an unconstrained state. Mass and volume are secondary derivative forms formed after the condensation of energy. All interactions in the world, including gravitation, electromagnetic force and the strong force at the nuclear scale, are compensatory effects generated when the free operation of the universal constant c is confined by material structures. This paper elaborates the homologous logic of Maxwell’s electromagnetic system, mass-energy conversion, Newtonian dynamics and nuclear force, establishes a complete underlying framework of cosmic sources, and realizes the unification of fundamental physical laws.
