Abstract

A New Lignin BioJet: Jet fuel-range hydrocarbons (C 7 –C 18 ) can be produced directly from biomass-derived lignin by selective C–O–C bond cleavage and simultaneous hydrodeoxygenation using combinations of noble metal catalysts (Ru/Al 2 O 3 ) and acidic zeolites (H + -Y) in the aqueous phase.
