The DAN-RSV trial was a pragmatic, open-label, individually randomized trial of 131,276 adults aged ≥60 years in Denmark that showed the RSVpreF vaccine was 83.3% effective against RSV-related respiratory hospitalization and reduced all-cause cardiorespiratory hospitalizations by 9.9%. Prespecified secondary analyses published in JAMA, JACC, and European Heart Journal examined cardiovascular outcomes and found no statistically significant reduction in isolated cardiovascular endpoints.
