Maya Simionescu

Maya Simionescu is the Director of the Institute of Cellular Biology and Pathology 'N. Simionescu' in Bucharest, Romania. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Bucharest and has conducted extensive research on vascular endothelium and cardiovascular diseases. She has held visiting professor positions at Yale University, McGill University, Columbia University, and UCLA.
