Ann Aerts serves as the Head of the Novartis Foundation, a role she has held since 2013. She previously worked as Therapeutic Area Head for Cardiovascular and Metabolism at Novartis Pharma Belgium and as Franchise Medical Director for Critical Care at Novartis Pharma in Basel. She also held the position of Head of the Health Services Department at the International Committee of the Red Cross from 1998 to 2001.
