Lavinia Rech (Cara Lavinia Shirin Rech), MD MA MSc PhD, is a translational physician-scientist in the Division of Cardiology at the Medical University of Graz. She has held a postdoctoral research fellow position in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on cardiac fibrosis, remodeling after myocardial infarction, HFpEF, and immune pathways in cardiovascular disease.
