Industrial facilities have been preserved on the territory of the historical settlement of Samara. These are individual buildings integrated into residential development and complexes of structures that make up large territories of industrial zones. Some enterprises have been operating in Samara for over a century and are an integral part of its historical landscape, a number of industrial buildings are located in cultural heritage sites of regional and federal significance, and others did not survive the change in the socio-economic structure and are now liquidated. An attempt has been made to classify these facilities and propose a strategy for their continued existence as part of the historical settlement.
