The article examines the features of the aesthetics of urban space using the example of Odesa, identifies the main problems and prospects for its formation in the conditions of modern urban development, investigates the functioning of open public spaces in the historical part of Odessa, the principles of their further reorganization through the renovation of these territories. Modern aesthetics of urban space also includes the principles of tactical urbanism, interactivity and inclusiveness - the ability of space to attract residents to interaction and the formation of a common cultural experience. Finding ways to modernize urban space, its aestheticization and increasing the comfort of living and improving visual perception is an urgent task. Odesa is an example of a city where aesthetics has a historical basis, multicultural heritage, but at the same time faces the challenges of modern development and visual decline. To preserve and develop the aesthetics of Odessa's urban space, it is important to integrate cultural policy, urbanism, public art and the active participation of residents. Only under the conditions of a common vision of the city as an aesthetic value can its attractiveness, identity and harmonious development be ensured. Of particular interest is the city of Odesa, which is unique in its architectural appearance, cultural heritage and dynamic transformations of recent decades.
