The article considers the urgent problem of adaptation of business processes of companies in the context of digital transformation and rapidly changing economic environment. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of ecosystem models as an effective tool for integrating internal resources and external partnership opportunities for joint value creation. The need to develop a comprehensive methodology for assessing the impact of ecosystems on key performance indicators (KPI), including both quantitative and qualitative parameters, is emphasized. Using the example of Russian digital market leaders - Yandex, MTS and VK - a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the main KPIs is carried out, demonstrating both a significant increase in revenue and expansion of market shares, as well as an increase in operating costs and a decrease in market capitalization. The results obtained indicate the difficulties and challenges associated with the implementation of ecosystems, and also emphasize the importance of a systems approach to managing and monitoring changes. In conclusion, a conclusion is made about the prospects of the ecosystem approach, provided that it is adapted to the specifics of the industry and the strategy is constantly adjusted in response to external factors. The work is of interest to researchers and practitioners involved in digital transformation, strategic management and the development of innovative business models.
