The ongoing military confrontation in Ukraine has negatively impacted the domestic construction industry. Nevertheless, the construction sector remains a cornerstone for the restoration of the national economy, both in the present and the post-war period. It is a strategic, structural, and budget-forming component of national economic development. Consequently, the issue of its technological transformation based on modern innovative principles has become increasingly relevant. In the context of accelerating scientific and technological progress, globalization, and market internationalization, the adoption of cutting-edge technological solutions in construction processes is imperative. However, the construction sector tends to preserve traditional technologies, which slows the pace of innovation and hinders technological renewal. These challenges underscore the need for this study. The article explores the scientific and practical foundations, directions, and features of the innovative development of Ukraine's construction industry under modern conditions, as well as its problematic aspects in the context of global trends. The importance of the innovative potential of the construction sector, its role, and its influence on the dynamics of construction development are substantiated. It is demonstrated that the innovative potential and capabilities of construction enterprises must be developed on a modern technological foundation, incorporating advanced IT technologies. The study highlights the necessity of widespread digitalization in the construction industry, particularly within the framework of Industry 4.0. Based on the analysis, conclusions were drawn, and recommendations were provided regarding the innovative and technological advancement of the domestic construction sector.
