The article examines the communication and institutional support of the military-political representation and military-political administration, the promotion of social interests to the political level, and the correction of the activities of public spokespeople of the military administration in wartime. The role of non-governmental organizations that interact with military decision-making centers in a legal manner and in accordance with regulations and procedures is considered. The need for further improvement of interinstitutional interaction based on the examples of the Euro-Atlantic community at the present stage is identified. The author of the article emphasizes the task of harmonizing information policy to support a common semantic line and version of events, a joint fight against hostile fakes and propaganda narratives. The need to establish alternatives to constructive communication behavior, positive institutional and actor motivation of military-civilian interaction, as well as optimal forms of cooperation in times of crisis is emphasized. Approaches to building the capacity of citizens to respond to the stresses and challenges of a military situation are clarified. We have considered the regulatory and legal framework of effective military-civilian interaction, which were already defined in Ukraine in the pre-war period. The behavior of the military-political communication system in the context of military-civilian cooperation, which involves consistent and purposeful work on communication between the Armed Forces and the external environment, is characterized. The optimal principles of military-political communication, which are formed through the exchange of views with representatives of foreign countries, are characterized. The need for interinstitutional interaction between public organizations, non-governmental media structures and participants in military-political communication, which requires significant correction in the conditions of Euro-Atlantic integration, is substantiated.
