The Role of Organizational Culture and Training Alignment in Enhancing Lecturer Performance

This study aims to examine and analyze the factors that influence lecturer performance using an established research model. Key variables such as organizational culture, organizational structure, and training are identified as drivers that can enhance lecturer performance. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with a causal design. The population consists of lecturers from five private universities in Serang City, registered with the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region IV and listed in the National Lecturer Database. A total sample of 176 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula, and the sampling technique applied was simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Version 26. The findings reveal that organizational culture, organizational structure, and training significantly affect lecturer performance. These results contribute to the development of knowledge management practices, particularly in managing human resources through cultural alignment, organizational support, and professional development. Furthermore, the study highlights the mediating role of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior in enhancing performance outcomes. The findings can serve as a valuable reference for future research in the field of higher education management.
