The article highlights the main problematic issues faced by entrepreneurs at the national level, as well as those related to the level of awareness and competence in doing businessin agricultural production and industry.The advantages and disadvantages of taking current measures for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, their size in Ukraine and abroad are considered.
