The aim of the current research is to make clear the administrative framework within which the leaders-managers organize their distributed practices. The management of a school unit is not unaffected by the external influences of the school district, the extra-institutional bodies, the external evaluation mechanisms as well as the internal consultations. The autonomy of the leading moves and initiatives depends on the interference of the senior authorities, when they promote an initial project or write a school evaluation report. The management, as a result, is affected by external factors, but, in the meantime, by personnel’s reactions. Sharing powers is seen as a reliable solution to deal with arising problems, reaping benefits for all parties involved!
