The major aim of the present empirical survey, conducted from the 28th December of 2019 to the 16th January of 2020, was to examine the level of professional satisfaction of primary school teachers and withal the impact of demographic features on dominant factors, affiliated with job satisfaction. The study’s sample was 151 primary school teachers of Larissa. The research tool was a questionnaire. The survey findings indicate a slight degree of professional satisfaction of participants, who state dissatisfaction with the promotion opportunities and the salary. According to endogenous factors, a slight degree of professional satisfaction is associated with the difficulty of expressing the inner potential and the non-utilization of teachers’ abilities. As for the exogenous factors, the job stability or security is more important for teachers to have a sense of job satisfaction. Finally, the demographic features do not generally affect the job satisfaction other than employment relationship.
