Lifelong education is a necessary condition for the proper functioning of modern man, and an important area of this education is preparing an individual to cope with various threats. The fundamental tasks in the field of education for safety are carried out by the education system, which is regulated by appropriate legal acts concerning education at various levels. For many years, in accordance with the core curriculum of this education, classes have been carried out for students of primary and secondary schools, and their content and methods correspond to current needs and challenges. In the conditions of a democratic state of law and a civil society, in which safety is an important social value, continuous education for safety is necessary. Here it is necessary to refer to the idea of an "educational society", in which there is a penetration of broadly understood educational, social, political and economic activities into all environments, which means that every person has a free choice of means and programs of education and self-education, also in the field of education for safety. It should be emphasized that educational activities in the field of shaping the security of individuals, various groups and social environments can be carried out by any entity functioning in social reality. Many entities, directly or indirectly, have tasks in the area of shaping security in the area for which they are responsible recorded in the legal act on the basis of which they operate. Practice in this area proves that a prominent place here is occupied by activities that we define as education for security, carried out by various entities in various didactic forms and in relation to various groups of recipients.
