Introduction: Ayurveda is seen as a step forward in the treatment of tumours that are similar to the Sushrutha Samhita’s clinical entities of Arbuda and Granthi. Tridoshas vitiate, they try to vitiate Mamsa, Rakta, specifically Sira upadhatu of Rakta dhatu and form an upright swelling which is called as Granthi. According to AcharyaSushrut,Granthi is classifiedintoVatajaGranthi,PittajaGranthi,Kaphaja Granthi, Medoja Granthi and Siraj Granthi. Vataj Granthi a type of cyst or nodule is a common condition that can cause significant discomfort and morbidity. This case study explores the efficacy of Ayurvedic management in treating Vataj Granthi. A 70 year old female patient presented with abnormal mass growth on dorsum of nose, diagnosed as Vataj Granthi based on clinical examination and investigations. She was treated with an ayurvedic approach. The single drug treatment led to significant reduction in size and symptoms of the swelling. The patient’s quality of life improved substantially, and she was able to resume her daily activities without discomfort. This case study highlights the potential benefits of Ayurvedic management in treating Vataj Granthi, offering a promising alternative to conventional treatments. The findings suggest that Ayurvedic interventions can be effective in managing Vataj Granthi, wanting further research and exploration.
