Training programs are essential tools for strengthening the skills and knowledge of staff, volunteers, and community members in non-profit organizations. However, many programs fail to achieve lasting impact because they are poorly structured, not aligned with participant needs, or lack cultural relevance. This Teaching Paper introduces two worksheets for training design: a General Training Program Worksheet and a Culturally Appropriate Training Program Worksheet. Together, these templates guide organizations in planning effective, targeted, and inclusive training initiatives. By embedding clear objectives, appropriate methods, and robust evaluation into the design process, organizations can enhance learning outcomes and foster long-term capacity development
