The author examines the forms of cooperation that Mati ca Srp ska has implemented in the territories of Repu bli ka Srp ska in the period from the collapse of the SFRY to the present day. Recalling the fact that Mati ca Srp ska was originally designed as an institution that sought to cover the entirety of the Serbian ethnic and cultural space, the author has devoted special attention to the period during and after the collapse of the SFRYugoslavia. In response to an explicit question from the secretary of Mati ca Srp ska, in the second half of the 1990s, the Government of the Repu bli ka Srp ska has expressed full agreement with the basic principles of the language policy pursued by Mati ca Srp ska, together with the Committee for the Standardization of the Serbian Language and a dominant part of the Serbian scientific community. In 2010, the Association of the Members of Mati ca Srp ska was founded in Repu bli ka Srp ska, headquartered in Banja Luka, and this Association has been operating to this day, producing very good results. In 2018, Mati ca Srp ska established its Kraji na Board, which focuses most of its attention on the Serbian ethnic space in the Repu bli ka Srp ska and the Repu blic of Cro a tia. After 2020, within the framework of bilateral forms of cooperation, Mati ca has successfully cooperated with various municipalities in Repu bli ka Srp ska, within the agreed programs and goals. One of the Mati ca Srp ska program purposes implies existence of an institution in all the places displaying a need for systematic nurturing of Serbian cultural values, which offers great possibilities for extending the scope of activities of this institution in this regard.
