The paper explores how to join efforts today in preservation and strengthening of the unity of Serbian national, cultural and spiritual identity. The contemporary conditions in which the Serbian people live are not supportive to preservation and strengthening of such unity. Many times, one could hear from certain sources that aspire to run the world, that it is necessary to change the Serbian national identity, meaning to destroy the Serbian cultural model. Today, Serbian people live divided in many states, having different possibilities to meet their Serbian national interests, even in regard to preservation of their cultural and spiritual unity. Also, in the last century, when the Serbs lived in one, Yugoslav country, the care of Serbian cultural and spiritual identity did not rank high in the state policy. The objective of this paper is to contribute to formulating Serbian national policy in this regard, including methods for its implementation, in order to move toward betterment of this situation.
