Indonesia is at a crucial point in its modern history, facing 2025 with great challenges and opportunities amid complex political, economic and social dynamics. This research aims to understand Indonesia's political direction amid domestic and global dynamics, as well as its implications for society and the world. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, analyzing data from various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, and research reports. Data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method which includes data reduction, data presentation, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the 2024 Presidential Election resulted in an elected president and vice president pair for the 2024-2029 term, with high public participation and shifts in voter segmentation. Indonesia's 2025 political outlook is predicted to be characterized by complex dynamics, with challenges such as political polarization and the need to increase foreign direct investment (FDI), as well as opportunities in terms of environmental sustainability and Indonesia's strategic role in the Indo-Pacific region. Indonesia has the opportunity to achieve its economic growth targets, reduce its unemployment rate and increase its renewable energy contribution. Successful achievement of these targets depends on the implementation of good governance, strengthening synergies between central and local governments, and harmonious collaboration with the private sector and civil society.
