Hibrid Warfare: Is it War? Comporative Analysis of Theoretical Approaches This article examines the legitimacy of the term «hybrid warfare» to describe contemporary conflicts. Based on the analysis of classic and modern military theorists (Carl von Clausewitz, Frank Hoffman, Martin van Creveld, and others), a comparative review of theoretical approaches to hybrid war is provided. The article explores differences in interpretation between traditional and contemporary schools and gighlights the legal ambiquity surrounding hybrid conflict. It concludes that hybrid warfare represments a transformation of the nature of war in the 21st century.
