The structure, deformation behavior and mechanical properties under tension of tapes of soft magnetic alloys 2НСР, 30КСР and 84КХСР (Russian names) obtained by quenching from the melt have been studied. It is shown that the ultimate strength of the tapes can exceed 1000 MPa at a low relative elongation ε ≈ 1%, while the elastic modulus is 100 GPa. The distribution fields of the strain components were constructed and analyzed. The characteristic structural-scale levels of deformation of the alloy tapes are discussed.
