The centuries-old experience, worldview, moral and normative values, attitude to social life of each nation are embodied in oral folk art, especially proverbs, which clearly demonstrate folk wisdom. The historical, cultural, and religious commonality between the Uzbek and Turkish peoples is clearly visible in the proverbs of these two peoples. This article provides a comparative analysis of the commonalities of Uzbek and Turkish proverbs, their life philosophy, and style of expression.
