The article presents a program for developing emotional intelligence in primary school children using psychogymnastics. The goal of the program is to develop children's ability to recognize, understand and manage their emotions, develop empathy, self-confidence and adequate self-esteem. The program includes 10 thematic classes, implemented over five months, and is designed taking into account the psychophysiological characteristics of children. Within the framework of each class, psychogymnastic sketches, theatrical exercises and elements of reflection were used. The effectiveness of the program was assessed using the methods of R.R. Kalinina and E.I. Izotova, according to the results of which a significant increase in the level of emotional intelligence was recorded in most participants. The presented data confirm the effectiveness of the introduction of psychogymnastics as a means of developing the emotional sphere of primary school children.
