Abstract: This research paper delves into the financial performance and growth trajectories of Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) operating in India. NBFCs are integral to the Indian financial landscape, as they cater to the financial needs of segments of the population that are often underserved or unbanked. The study examines a set of financial metrics over a five-year period, using secondary data sourced from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) publications, financial statements, and various company databases. Key financial indicators, including the Current Ratio, Debt-Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Return on Capital Employed, and Return on Net Worth, are analyzed using statistical techniques like ANOVA. The results indicate notable differences in financial performance across various categories of NBFCs. Drawing on these findings, the paper provides recommendations to improve regulatory frameworks, promote digital transformation, and enhance risk management practices.
