This study examined death perception and its influencing factors among nursing students. Results indicated moderate overall death perception, with death acceptance exceeding death anxiety. Gender and grade significantly affected death perception, with female students showing higher anxiety and senior students higher acceptance. Death perception correlated positively with life meaning and negatively with death anxiety. Findings suggest that systematic death education and clinical practice can effectively enhance students’ death perception, offering guidance for curriculum design and psychological interventions.
