This article deals with the deconstruction of the motif of werewolfism in Pelevin’s novel “Sacred Book of the Werewolf”. The article analyzes three aspects: 1) Deconstruction of reality in combination with “phantoms” of consciousness; 2) Construction of intertextual space; 3) Significance of postmodernist deconstruction of culture. Conclusions drawn from the analysis — the work contains both vulgar language and profound ideas, combining fantasy and reality, Eastern philosophy and Western mysticism, preserving the Russian literary tradition, and demonstrating the satirical style of postmodernism.
