Increasing worldwide interest in the study of the Korean language and Korean culture influences the directions the state language policy is headed while regulating and developing the language as well as spreading it outside the country. The article discusses the dialogue strategies in the educational space of the website of the National Institute of the Korean Language as one of the main government agencies responsible for implementing the language policy of the Republic of Korea. The method of content analysis in combination with contextualinterpretive and communicativepragmatic analysis were used in the study. The selection from the website included the sections containing educational materials that can be used for teaching Korean as well as the sections requesting the feedback. As a result, the main dialogic strategies were identified including intimization strategy, persuasive strategy and the strategy for forming psychoemotional mood, each of them aimed at creating the addressee’s sense of belonging to the Korean nation and personal responsibility for their native language. This suggests that the strategies used in the communication space of the National Institute of the Korean Language website are designed to encourage the visitors to actively participate in the Institute's projects to form dictionaries and monitor the activities of the institution.
