As humanity plans settlements on the moon, mars and beyond – the body also must accompany our thoughts of exploration. Whereas spaceflights and exposure to microgravity have extensive ramifications on almost all body systems including- microbial changes, alteration in biomechanics, impacts on musculoskeletal, nervous system and gender specific alterations. Therefore, Astronauts need proper guidance throughout, before the mission and reconditioning after for resurgence into their normal lives.Purpose: No doubt, the more we are advancing into the space- the more health hazards and need to prevent them in astronauts is increasing. Thus, modifying space medicine extensively. This review of article not only focuses on highlighting the health hazards faced by astronauts in and after exploring the outer space(with the instance of evidence- based research papers) but also the physiotherapeutic management playing major role in its prevention. The major drawback making the article was to find quantitative as well as qualitative approach in a single article. It has been clearly tried to cover this drawback. The review covers the major effects of microgravity and space exposure along with some physiotherapeutic role in a single nutshell.
