In July 2020, a trial excavation was conducted northwest of Yero h am (Permit No. A-8768; map ref. 190409–1207/546084–782; Fig. 1), prior to the expansion of a quarry. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Kfar Giladi Quarries Ltd., was conducted by T. Sapir (field photography), with the assistance of Y.
