Abstract

In October–December 2012, a large-scale salvage excavation was conducted at Kefar Veradim (Permit No. A-6633; map ref. 225882–909/767269–93), prior to the construction of the Giv‘at Oranim neighbourhood. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by K. Covello-Paran, with the assistance of Y. Harel, E. Dalali-Amos and J. Gosker (area supervision), L. Porat (area supervision, field restoration), Y. Ya‘aqobi (administration), R. Mishayev and M. Kahan (surveying), A. Shapiro (GPS, map), Y. Bibas, D. Silverman and Y. Nadel (field photography), E. Kamaisky (pottery restoration), V. Nosikovsky (bone-tool preservation), A. Gyrman-Levanon and A. Karasik (pottery computer scanning), H. Tahan-Rosen and C. Hirsch (drawing of finds), C.
