Abstract

Part III of the Butterflies of the Afrotropical Region, dealing with the Lycaenidae and Riodinidae, was published by d’Abrera in 2009. The text has been reviewed in detail and errors, omissions and misattributions are listed in this Part 1. The taxonomic changes that have been made in these butterfly families by other authors since d’Abrera (2009) are also listed and annotated if necessary.
