Global population growth and accelerated industrialization have also resulted in increased water pollution by waste. The most significant volume of domestic liquid waste is detergent. Current detergent products still use synthetic active ingredients that negatively affect human skin and can pollute the environment. Therefore, this study aims to examine the formulation of biodetergents from a combination of green surfactant Cocamid-DEA and saponin biosurfactants from water henna leaf extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) with the addition of lipase enzyme. Biodetergents were formulated with six variations and two repetitions of each variation with Cocamid-DEA concentrations (10% and 20%), saponin extract concentrations (saponin extract and aquadest ratios of 20%:45%; 25%:40%, and 30%:35%) and lipase enzymes (5% and 10%). Biodetergent analysis was conducted by measuring pH, density, viscosity, foam stability, and detergency to determine the product's suitability for the environment. The detergent product produced has a pH of 9.25-10.65 and a density of 1.162-1.168 g/mL, with all formulations having a density that meets SNI 06-476-1996 concerning liquid laundry detergent. The resulting viscosity ranges from 2.43 to 11.90 cPs. The detergency of all formulations ranges from 31.7-61.6 NTU, with the best detergency obtained in the extract and aquadest formulation of 20%:45%, Cocamid-DEA surfactant of 10%, and lipase enzyme of 5%. Thus, the biodetergent product produced from this study can be an environmentally friendly alternative product.
