This article examines the importance of legal regulation of the development of renewable energy in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The authors analyze the impact of the war period on the energy security of the country, in particular, in the presence of dependence on imported energy sources. The article discusses how the development of renewable energy can contribute to the sustainability of the energy system and ensure energy independence. Special attention is paid to the role of legal regulation in creating the necessary legal and institutional environment for the development of renewable energy in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The article also examines the main aspects of legal regulation of renewable energy in the context of military conflict, in particular legislative initiatives aimed at supporting the development of alternative energy sources during crisis situations. The legislative framework that stimulates investments in renewable energy and promotes the development of infrastructure for its implementation is analyzed. In addition, the article highlights possible problems and challenges that may arise in connection with the regulation of renewable energy under martial law, and offers practical recommendations for overcoming these obstacles. In general, the article is aimed at highlighting the importance of the legal aspect in the development of renewable energy in the conditions of the military conflict in Ukraine. The article draws attention to the popular benefits of using renewable energy sources in the context of military conflict, including reducing the impact of imported energy sources, reducing the impact on the environment, and promoting regional stability. The possibility of using innovative technologies in the field of renewable energy to increase the efficiency and reliability of energy systems in military conditions is also considered. This article emphasizes the need to develop a comprehensive approach to the development of renewable energy in the conditions of a military conflict, which takes into account not only technical and economic aspects, but also social and political factors. For example, this may include programs to involve the local population in the development and use of renewable energy sources, as well as the creation of mechanisms for public participation in energy policy decision-making. The article also considers the possibility of using renewable energy as a tool of international diplomacy and attracting foreign investment to support Ukraine’s energy sustainability during the military conflict. Renewable energy can be a key statistical factor in strengthening international partnerships and developing joint projects to ensure energy security and stability in the region. The general conclusion of the article is that the legal regulation of renewable energy is of crucial importance for ensuring the country’s energy security and stability in the conditions of a military conflict, as it will contribute to the development of ecologically clean energy sources and reduce the vulnerability of the energy infrastructure to identified threats.
