Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, the study aimed to comprehensively examine the sources of anxiety faced by students, including challenges in text comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, fear of mistakes, and teacher-related aspects. Through interviews and observations, the researchers identified key elements that trigger reading anxiety, seeking to equip educators and learners with a deeper understanding of these factors. Using data reduction, visualization, inference and validation techniques, the study investigated the influence of anxiety variables on English learning outcomes, offering valuable insights to help students overcome reading anxiety through personalized strategies and support.
