This research is motivated by the lack of variation in learning media applied by teachers, students show less enthusiasm and difficulty in understanding mathematics lesson materials. This study aims to improve the quality of digital flipbook media products for mathematics subjects in grade IV, especially on the material of recognizing flat shapes and the formula for the area of flat shapes. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method, which consists of five stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The observation was carried out at SD Muhammadiyah 1&2. Questionnaires assessed by material experts, media experts, and educator participants were used to collect information. The results of the product development are applicationbased flipbooks that function as a medium for Mathematics education with the material of Recognizing Flat Shapes and Recognizing the Formula for the Area and Perimeter of Flat Shapes.
