Objectives This study explores approaches to integrate digital literacy education with subject education assessment. Methods To achieve this, 18 elementary school teachers extract achievement standards within the revised 2022 educational curriculum which are feasible to teach associating with digital literacy education. The evaluation module is composed by aligned tasks based on articulated scenarios inspired by ICILS assessment. Results Specific literacies can serve as a useful core for connecting and instructing various subjects in the shape of the essential competency to solve assessment module. By linking cross-curricular education with subject content, it is possible to guarantee instructional time for teaching essential ‘literacies’ across all subjects. Conclusions To utilize the framework for integrating assessment with subject education and cross-curricular themes, its knowledge, skills, and attitudes comprising cross-curricular education to be extracted. Moreover, for broadening the horizon of curriculum operation, various methods enhancing the relevance between instruction and assessment need to be explored.
