The rapid growth of online platforms has raised concerns about violations of moral and legal norms, necessitating effective supervisory mechanisms. The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) plays a crucial role in ensuring that content on platforms like TikTok adheres to ethical and legal standards. This research, using a normative juridical approach, focuses on legislation such as Law No. 32 of 2002 on Broadcasting and Law No. 1 of 2024 on the Second Amendment to Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions. These laws define broadcasting and outline the responsibilities of radio and television organizations. The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) collaborates with KPI to monitor and address negative content in online media. The supervision of live streaming and recorded broadcasts faces complex challenges, requiring comprehensive regulations and policies. Collaboration between the government, online platforms, and the public is vital for maintaining effective oversight, transparency, and accountability.
