This study aims to examine the relationship between job stress, ego resilience, and job satisfaction of childcare teachers and verify the mediating effect of ego resilience in the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction.For this purpose, data from 314 childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were analyzed.The survey was conducted using a convenience sampling method from April 1 to April 22, 2017, and the researcher personally visited the study subjects' workplaces or collected questionnaires through mail.As an analysis method, the threestep procedure for verifying the mediation effect presented by Baron and Kenny (1986) was applied, and the analysis results are as follows.First, job stress was found to have a negative effect on ego resilience.Second, job stress was found to have a negative effect on job satisfaction.Third, ego resilience was found to have a positive effect on job satisfaction.Fourth, ego resilience was found to partially mediate the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction.Based on this, it will help improve the quality of child care by establishing a program to improve the job satisfaction of childcare teachers.
